Merdeka Adventure.

Hmm. It's been a while. Assalamualaikum.

Alhamdulillah for a short three-days merdeka weekend gateaway to Genting Highland, Ulu Yam, and Hutan Lipur Sg Sendat.

Started our journey to Giant grocer to buy barbeque stuffs. Then headed and check in at Ulu Kalong Resort, Ulu Yam. Chalet ni located memang ke jauh ke dalam. The awesome thing - our chalet is just few steps away to the river. Confirm to beautifully sleep in with the sound of air terjun and sungai. Weather was super nice with the raining and all. 2-rooms kampung style chalet with rest room/toilet is located outside. Price boleh tahan, including the barbeque facility. Changed my outfit from baju kenduri haaa nampak tak nampak tak, since I went to two weddings before the journey, Maghrib yadi yada, and stopped-by for dinner at Zal Corner Kari Kepala Ikan Specialist, Batang Kali. Nama je gempak but we didn't have kari kepala ikan pun LOL. Had tomyam campur, kailan ikan masin and daging masak merah.

From Batang Kali to Genting Highland, about 45 minutes journey. It was so cold in Genting! Me being jakun datang Genting, we had fun at the arcade; enjoying the basketball, daytona, street fighter, takken and apa entah lagi. Too bad the theme park is under construction. In respect to MH17 and MH370, there was no official countdown and fireworks. But we brought our own 40-shots of fireworks and everyone nearby went 'Merdeka! Merdeka!'

At about 2am, we went back to Ulu Yam and had teh tarik/ mapley session before calling the night off. Sumpah lah nyaman tidur dengan bunyi sungai and air terjun.

Ni laa dia view depan chalet. Nikmat dia tuhan je tahu.

We had barbeque the next morning. Kahkah macam hangus je.

Bakar-bakar and makan-makan and headed to Hutan Lipur Sg Sendat untuk nikmat mandi manda air terjun. Water therapy, for me, is a great therapy kalau serabut ke stress ke. Berjam-jam di sini, nikmat alam yang memberi ketenangan kepada diri.

 Bila sibuk dengan urusan dunia - leka dan seronok
hingga kadang-kadang lupa hidup sedang dipinjamkan.

Nikmat alam tuhan ini, kembali mengenang dosa-dosa yang ada,
mengharap simpati tuhan untuk diampun-redhakan.

Thank you baby Germany for being my 4wd and been so good to us. An accident happened but my baby is okay. Thank you Allah sebab bagi kawan-kawan sekepala yang minat jelajah alam; Fakhrul for always being the driver, serba tahu and guide semua benda; Yeen for taking care of accommodation, being a deputy chef and finance manager. Me as usual, kasi pinjam Germany and being the photographer videographer setiap geng pun kalau takda saya tak bergambar video kenangan lah korang hahah. We missed Kak Sara and Nano btw, couldn't join at the very last minute sebab emergency. But no worries, next is our #MisiKembara very soon!
