Alhamdulillah for an amazing year end holiday with my bestie-of-15-years, Eira. We're going places this time so here's another long travelogue post of mine. Now let the roadtrip begin! :)
Day 1 - 20 Dec 2014
We had breakfast at our usual spot, Jamal Restaurant near FAM Kelana Jaya before we start our journey. We started heading south at about 10am and the first stop was the lookout point somewhere after the Alor Gajah exit.

Melaka traffic was super heavy! Plus it's the weekend and school holidays.
We headed up to the Original Klebang Coconut Shake for their awesome coconut shake with nasi lemak bungkus. I add up some kuih and meehun goreng. I had this light lunch for only RM5.50.
Then we continue exploring the historical building of A Famosa.

Now let's take a break at Jalan Bunga Raya...
... for this super delicious roti bakar with ABC ice-cream. This is my first try and it tasted so good!! 2 sets of roti bakar and 2 ABC ice-creams - RM10.40. So each RM5.20.
And we met these two pretty ladies. Hee.
We stayed at Eira's kampung so we saved the accommodation cost hehe. We watched AFF Suzuki Cup final Malaysia vs Thailand before we continue our adventure to Jonker Walk (my first time too!).

Beautiful trishaws with colourful lights. You may choose your trishaw shape and design but I see a lot of Hello Kitties. And some trishaws with audio so you may choose your songs too.
Day 1 adventure ended with supper at McD. I was so thirsty so I just had Coke for RM3.70. Lol.
Day 2 - 21 Dec 2014
We continued our second day of adventure from Melaka to Johor Bahru yo!
Stopped by at Shell to get some snacks, munchies and coffee for RM12.65.

The most adventurous part was we were running out of petrol and we couldn't find any nearby gas station around Nusajaya. Luckily to find a Petronas with 8km left!

So many humans queuing for the tickets especially during this school holidays and plus it was Sunday.

We had crepes as our light lunch for RM6.80.
We went to JB City Centre next. And tell you what, the traffic was massively crazy. We took nearly two hours to reach to our hotel plus the difficulty to find a parking spot at JBCC.

One thing about this hotel is they don't provide parking space. That's why we had to park at JBCC mall for RM4 (RM2/each) and walk about 5-10 minutes to the hotel. Check-in, freshen up and perform prayers.

... and headed up to Plaza Angsana for this tastiest Hj Wahid Mee Rebus! I waited two years for this. Yum yummy! Mee rebus (RM4) + 5 otak-otak (RM3.50) + drinks (RM1.50) = RM9.

We then parked our car at JB Central and went to Komtar JBCC for this Angry Birds Activity Park. And we toured around the shopping malls as well.

Day 3 - 22 Dec 2014
Third day of adventure started at 7.30am and Singapore here we come!!

We parked our car at JB Central the night before until the day we return back to JB (about one day plus plus). Parking rate RM36.40 (RM18.20/each).
Took a bus from JB Central to Kranji MRT station - RM1.50.
Our traveling kit - Singapore map, MRT map, MRT daily pass, and passport, of course!
I forgot to snap picture of my currency exchange rate card, where I put it at the back of my phone (like the one I did for my Bali trip). So it will be easier for me to compare the rates.
SGD1 = RM2.65. I brought SGD70 = RM185.50.
Plus the leftover SGD2 when I visited Singapore last two years. Hahaha.
We wanted to buy the MRT daily pass at Kranji station but the staff said we have to go to Ang Mo Kio station to get the passes. So we had to buy the ticket from MRT Kranji - Ang Mo Kio for SGD2.30.
We bought the MRT 2 days pass SGD16 + SGD10 refundable deposit
For one day pass = SGD10. For three days pass = SGD20.
Very useful for tourists like us :D

Our first mission is to drop our backpack at our hotel. From MRT Ang Mo Kio to Tanjong Pagar. Then another 10 minutes walk to our hotel.

We communicated with the hotel staff to confirm our bookings and they had a very accurate description and direction from the MRT Tanjong Pagar to the hotel. Drop our luggages and continue discovering Singapore! (I will tell you how cute this hotel is shortly!)

Bugis Village yo!
We walked a lot! We took the MRT to one place and another. We tried the whole inter-station line; East West Line, North South Line, North East Line, Circle Line and Downtown Line.
I'm amazed with their MRT system. Sophisticated. Many under tunnels that connect one building to another. We went to their shopping malls too! Wanted to shop but things were too expensive so bersabarlah wahai hati. Lol.

We went back to Raffles Place to see Marina Bay night view. Looovee the view!
Had dinner at Starbucks. Caramel Frap with grilled vege and mushroom sandwich SGD11.80.
We relaxed ourself here enjoying the free wifi and we turned anti-social. Hehee.

Book-it via Agoda for RM69.31/capsule. Lockers, clean toilet and bathrooms with water heater, pantry, breakfast, washing machine and dryer, hang-out room with Ogawa massage chair, irons and hair dryer, high speed wifi, friendly staffs.
Refundable deposit hotel SGD20. I forgot to bring my international adapter and silly me I thought Singapore's plug is different from Malaysia so I rented the international adapter for SGD1 and did not use it at all. Lol. Such a waste. *cries*

Then we rest for a while and used the Ogawa massage chair. We then had light breakfast - they served breads and cereals with juices. Then getting ourselves ready for check-out.

From our hotel, we took MRT Telok Ayer - Bugis. Returned our MRT daily pass and continue walking at Bugis Street.
Did some shopping here. SGD15.
Lunch at Long John Silver which is no longer available in Malaysia. Fish & shrimp set SGD7.30.
Having a SGD2 apricot juice, bought at the famous fruit juice stall at Bugis Street entrance.
We were running late so we went straight to Queen St bus station to return to JB.

We wanted to drop by at JPO but we had no time cause we were rushing to catch the sunset at Port Dickson. Stopped for prayers at JB Central and drove to PD yo!
It rained heavily from Kulai - PD. Reached PD around 6pm+ and we met Emy!
Ended up we didn't get to see the sunset because of the heavy rain alahaii so sad.
Emy brought us for seafood dinner by the beach. Thank you Emy for the treat :D

Arrived PJ at about 3pm. We look hot in red! Haha. Thank you baby Ford for the adventure with us. Thank you Eira for this amazing adventure hehee nanti kita jalan-jalan lagi okay!

Alhamdulillah for this 5 days 4 nights of #GadisOnAdventure. It's time to save more money for the next vacation ho yeah! Till we meet again. Merry christmas and happy new year! :)
